I love quilts. I don't really know why, beyond that they're pretty and warm, but I love them. Here are some of the quilts I have in my house.
The quilt my grandmother made for me:
This is the one that's in my writing office, on the back of my chair, where one of my cats likes to hang out. I bought it at a flea market.
And finally the one Hubby's mother made for us.
I usually think of quilts as more crafty than arty, but I looked at this post and thought - wow! There is definite craft/art crossover here :) Nice quilts.

ReplyDeleteI make quilts in my "spare" time and I've gotta say, if I can do it anyone can. Since you love them so much have you ever tried to create your own?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I have joint damage and arthritis in both my hands. Most days, it's all I can do to write my stories.
