Higgins is a Miniature Pinscher. We adopted him from a local shelter because, at the time, we had one dog and he needed a pal. When we went to look at Higgins, the shelter workers warned us that he wasn't very friendly, and he might bite. He took one look at my husband and dissolved into a nubbin wagging, face licking pile of mush.
He's a senior citizen now, and rather neurotic. His favorite place is right on top of the heat vent. But we love his crazy little self!
