I grew up in Florida, so I grew up with a love for oranges. Down there, we didn't go buy them at the supermarket, we picked them in our neighbor's groves.
I can still get oranges in the North, of course. What I can't get, is the smell of orange blossoms in bloom.
It's like nothing I can describe. It's sweet and citrusy, and it smells like summer. It smells like sunshine.
I miss orange blossoms.
