I'll admit it, I'm a romantic at heart. I leave little love notes for Hubby in various places, buy him random things, and I love, love, love sending flowers.
Which is a nice segue to my prize - a dozen red roses, delivered to the winner, from 1-800 Flowers.
There are two steps to entering:
1. Follow my blog.
2. Leave a comment below, with your e-mail, telling me what your idea of a romantic gesture is.
GOOD LUCK!!!
****PLEASE BE AWARE: I write GLBTQ romance. GLBTQ stands for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer. This means my works feature same sex relationships AND same sex sexual acts. If being associated with that kind of a blog isn't your cup of tea, kindly pass on to the next blog in the hop and leave the spot open for someone else. Thank you.****

ReplyDeleteI follow by email. My idea of romantic gesture at this point in life is my husband taking our son for a few hours alone so I can have some me time, followed by a babysitter at night for some together time. :)
ReplyDeleteCan you tell he's still a baby? lol

ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! Sometimes I wish I was swept away by someone's love especially on Valentine's Day. Being young, I have yet to have the opportunity. If I could choose any man in the world to sweep me away, I would certainly choose Alexander Skarsgard. He's nice, funny, polite and well educated. If I could pick a fictional man, I would choose Jamie Fraser from "Outlander." With his rough physicality, loving sensibility, and fierce passion, I know I would be happy for the rest of my life. I wish I could be swept away to New Zealand or Scotland, somewhere beautifully green and primitive.
Enough with my epic daydreams…
Happy Valentine's Day!

A romantic gesture can be anything from holding the door open for you to long walks with lots of kisses. It just really depends on who your with.

I think a romantic gesture is anything you do just to make your special someone feel special and for no other reason than that. Thanks for the great giveaway!

ReplyDeleteMy most favorite romantic gesture to receive is a surprise cup of gourmet coffee. When he comes home with Starbuck's or the Cafe that is family owned and run, it makes me feel very special. First, he tends to be a cheapskate so if he spent that on a cup of coffee for me, I know he is digging me. Secondly, he took time out of his day to do something nice for me. My favorite thing to give him is a homemade card. He LOVES them for some reason (could be the cheap thing coming out again?) and that is just what I did this year for Valentine's Day.
Best wishes,
Marlena

I love the little things. Holding hands, telling each other you love them. Just anything that shows you care. I dont need grand gestures. Give me the little ones all year every year and were good! Thank you for the awesome hop and giveaway!!! :)

ReplyDeleteMy idea of a romantic gesture is when someone does something just because. He holds your hand just because he feels like it, he strokes your cheek cause he wants to touch you. Some of the most romantic gestures are the ones that are given freely and without expectation of a return favor. They're also the intimate gestures you make that you don't even realize you're making. Hopefully that made sense.
