Breathless Press Birthday Scavenger Hunt Blog Hop

H

Welcome readers to the Breathless Press Birthday Scavenger Hunt Blog Hop!

We have nineteen blogs participating, and each author is giving away a prize, books, swag...you name it!

For my part, I'll be giving away a free pdf of any of my Breathless Press titles to one lucky winner!!! Entering is easy - just leave a comment below with your e-mail!

You can find my eligible works at www.breathlesspress.com

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!

It's Breathless Press's Birthday!

And have they got a gift for one lucky reader! Visit every blog in the hop, and locate the eighteen clues- blue letters. Create a list of each author whose blog you visit (Don't forget to leave a comment so your visit can be verified!) and the blue letter you found on their post, unscramble the message, and email the whole list to Olivia.ventura@breathlesspress.com .

(Note: You are only eligible to win if you visit & comment on ALL blogs!)

Your email makes you eligible to win a 50 BOOK LIBRARY! Fifty books of your choice from Breathless Press! That's approximately a $150 dollar value!

You'll find the rest of the participating blogs if you click on the graphic at the top of this post!

****PLEASE BE AWARE: I write GLBTQ romance. GLBTQ stands for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer. This means my works feature same sex relationships AND same sex sexual acts. If winning that kind of a book isn't your cup of tea, kindly pass on to the next blog in the hop and leave the spot open for someone else. Thank you.****

  3. I have a strange question. How is queer different than the other terms in GLBTQ? Just curious. I'm one of those don't-get-out-much people and I don't really know the correct meaning of some terms. Thank for any explanation you give!!

    1. Well, I think of it in terms of "queer" encompasses everyone, and those people who fall out side of the G, L, B, and T. Folks like...say, my husband, who has found himself married to a transman, but who, is, himself, not gay. He proudly identifies as "queer" because he falls outside the "normal" spectrum. The Q can also stand for "questioning" to encompass those folks who just aren't sure yet. But even though I'm bi and trans (the B and the T), I identify as "queer," and that's what I tell folks. "I'm queer." I guess a part of it, too, is taking back a word that has been used to hurt so many people for so long.

    1. Hi Suzanne! It's not too hard, if you can believe that. I don't set out to write in any particular paring, the books just kind of dictate themselves and I roll with it.

  13. Daniel, I have enjoyed every story of yours I've laid eyes upon. You're an amazing talent, and I know you'll continue to do well in the LGBT literary community. Thanks for being one of the first to bring us realistic stories depicting trans characters. Great post, and thanks for sharing your experience. jeffaerno@gmail.com
