I a...Yeah... this whole thing is just plain stupid. I agree with everything you said. I support AJ 100%.

The fact that people are making a big deal of someone else's personal life is ridiculous. I mean... do most people honestly believe some authors are the gender's they say they are? Are THEY broadcasting their issues to the world? I'm sure there people out there that have done this, but are they telling the world that they cheated on their husband and kept it a secret and their baby isn't theirs but that person's one night stand?
NO. they are not.
BECAUSE IT'S NO ONE'S BUSINESS WHAT SOMEONE DECIDES TO DO OR KEEP SECRET IN THEIR PERSONAL LIFE.
Ok, so maybe he shouldn't have used someone else's picture, but he didn't "LIE" in saying who he was.
This is the whole problem in the discrimination against the LGBT community in General. That people NEED to make it their business on what someone keeps personal/hidden. And when they do find out, they segregate and hate on them. Really? Are you so... guh, just so hateful that you can't see that the only thing AJ did was fear our reaction?

All those people hating, calling him a liar and all this bull should be ashamed of themselves.Loveless3173https://www.blogger.com/profile/15263485030540041798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5945679778118659509.post-78391321423314521552011-11-16T06:43:48.521-05:002011-11-16T06:43:48.521-05:00DC, love you, love your courage. I don't agree...DC, love you, love your courage. I don't agree with you in some points, can't help that, and it's more a product of me being a cynic than of thinking readers are entitled to know everything about their authors (they're not.)

But I do think one has to be careful, regardless of gender and biology, how one approaches readers and topics of a controversial nature in one's genre. Spouting condescension and vitriol (yes, see some of AJ's responses to unflattering reviews, etc.) will garner you some of the same in response. Civil discourse with readers, a bit of polite distance - not a bad idea.Angel Martinezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16083874247515480776noreply@blogger.com
