Backlist Blog Hop - NSFW

For my part in the hop today, I'm featuring one of my first releases, back from 2010, "Omarati"

Blurb:

Everything changed for werewolf Calliph after the Shifter War. Now nothing more than a slave and plaything to human Prince Obyn, Calliph finds himself on the Golden Magus, sailing across the sea with his owner. But fate has something more in mind for Calliph in the form of First Mate Mateo—who just happens to be Calliph's Omarati—his soul mate . . . and a werecat. Heartbroken, Calliph knows he can't stay with Mateo—he is forced to follow Obyn wherever he leads. Years later, when an attack at sea lands Mateo in the hands of vicious pirates, the cat discovers that, though time has changed some things, his bond with Calliph is eternal.

Excerpt:

Obyn dropped to his knees. "Bind me."

Calliph fished around underneath the bed, retrieved the rope, and stared at the bundle as if it might suddenly come to life. He wound the rope around Obyn, pass-by- pass, conscious of every soft gasp, every excited tremble.

"Tighter. That's it." Obyn looked up. "Now fuck my mouth."

Calliph shook his head, bewildered as always by the feral gleam in Obyn's eyes. He shed his breeches, his face burning with shame when Obyn snickered at Calliph's still-flaccid cock.

"You're going to have to do better than that," Obyn said.

Calliph stroked his cock vigorously, willing himself to harden. He rubbed the tip across Obyn's lips and tried again, pumping his cock and imagining all manner of erotic acts.

No use.

Obyn, bound, kneeling before him, didn't arouse him; Calliph didn't want Obyn the way Obyn wanted him. Didn't help that Calliph's inner wolf longed to dine on Obyn's flesh but not in any way Obyn would've wanted. His wolf stirred, reminding him of what could have been if not for that damned magical collar he wore.

"Untie me."

Calliph hung his head as he worked the knot loose. He had angered Obyn tremendously, and though Obyn lacked the gumption to force himself on Calliph, Calliph knew the man would find a way to punish him.

Obyn touched Calliph's collar; his magic radiated through it. Another reminder of Obyn's power over him . . . as if he needed any.

"Perhaps you'll be in a better mood tomorrow night."

But he wouldn't feel any different tomorrow than he did now. Calliph's cock wouldn't rise tomorrow, or the next night, or the next, or any night in the foreseeable future. At least, he doubted it would. His cock hadn't risen in weeks, despite Obyn's repeated attempts. Calliph jumped when the door slammed behind the man's retreat.

"You're a fool," Calliph chided himself. "And you're more trouble than your worth," he growled, glaring down at his cock.

Two hundred years had passed since the end of the Shifter War and the beginning of his life as a slave to Obyn's family. In that time, he had served them loyally, sometimes, willingly. Obyn's mother, Queen Anatra, and her husband, King Torat, were good to their slaves, as their parents had been, and those before them. But Calliph never imagined their progeny would demand so much of him.

At the thought, he shuddered and his cock shrank impossibly smaller. What bothered him about Obyn wasn't the man's tastes, but that he demanded those tastes be indulged. Calliph didn't like hurting others, not even when they wanted it. Not anymore. What Obyn asked of him was too much to give, too much like the man Calliph had once been.

Flash Fiction - Cat Tale

Flash Fiction – "Cat Tale" by DC Juris

I answered the knock against my better judgment, it being after eight at night, and I being in rather a grumpy mood. My left eyebrow arched of its own accord as I took in the scene on the other side of the threshold. Angelo, the hunk from three doors down and frequent star of my masturbatory fantasies, stood clutching a white cat in his arms against his deliciously bare chest, gazing down at it. I cleared my throat. "Can I help you?"

He looked up, eyes glittering. "You're a vet, right?" He thrust the cat at me. "This is Midnight. I think she's sick."

"Midnight, hmm?" I gathered up the furry bundle and nodded him inside. "Most people name white cats Snowball or something like that." I sat Midnight down on my kitchen table. "Hold onto her, will ya?"

"Yeah, well, I'm not most people," he answered as he moved to the table. He cooed and whispered to her while I found my stethoscope.

"What are her symptoms?" I asked, fishing for my penlight in my bag.

"Symptoms?" He shrugged. "Nothing specific."

I checked her out, all the while realizing she wasn't the only one under scrutiny. Angelo seemed more interested in watching me than the results of his cat's exam. To test my theory, I dropped my penlight on purpose, and the resulting gasp as I bent over, showing off my tight-shorts covered ass, confirmed my suspicions. I straightened. "There's nothing wrong with your cat, as far as I can see."

"No?" Angelo rubbed the back of his neck. "Huh." He glanced around, then fixed me with a heated stare and a sexy smile. "Well, since I'm here, maybe you can help me out with something?"

I took a step toward him, gliding my hand along the tabletop until it made contact with his. "What's that?"

He licked his lips. "I seem to have this...lump." He reached down and palmed his cock through his jeans. "It crops up every time I think about you."

I grinned and nodded. "I'm not a human doctor"--I covered his hand with my own, brushed my lips across his--"but I'm more than happy to take a look."

Duckapalooza 2013: Easter Ducks - My Collection

I found these at Michael's during Easter Season, and of course I had to have them!

Hot Summer Nights Blog Hop

I'm originally from Florida, so all my memories of summer involve scorching heat and occasional power outages. LOL

The one thing I do remember enjoying was taking drives at night, after it had cooled off just a little. There was something magical about speeding down the highway (under the speed limit, of course! ::smirk::) with all the windows open and the stereo blaring. It was still hot, mind you, but somehow we didn't seem to mind it as much.

For my prize today, I'm offering up a free pdf copy of the winner's choice of any THREE of my books, found at www.dcjuris.com. That's right - the winner gets THREE books.

To enter, just leave a comment below telling me the titles of the books you'd like to win.

GOOD LUCK!!

Wet and Wild Blog Hop

So many blogs, so little time. Because of that, I'm getting right to the point - the prize I'm offering is a free pdf of any of *my* stories, found at www.dcjuris.com. To enter to win, just leave a comment with your e-mail.

And just for fun, here's a little snippet of my m/m/m/m BDSM story, "Two of a Kind" (the sequel to "Finding Sanctuary"). Though the excerpt does not, the story contains heavy BDSM, watersports, and cheating.

Excerpt:

Anton paused outside his door and took a deep breath. He looked up at the sky, reminding himself for the hundredth time that he only had to put up with this situation for three days. Just three days. Three long, annoying, painful days. Shaking his head, he turned the doorknob, pushed the wooden barrier open and stepped inside. He smiled instantly, the warmth of familiarity pulsing in his chest. Just inside the doorway, his sub, Petyr, knelt, waiting for him, head bowed.
He sat his briefcase on the bench beside the door, slid his coat off and hung it on the coat tree, then ran his hands through Petyr’s hair, sighing with contentment. “How is my boy, this evening?”
Petyr looked up at him. “Happy to see you, Master,” Petyr purred in that smooth voice of his that Anton was certain could melt butter.
“I trust you’ve met our guest?”
Petyr nodded, bit his lip, and looked at the floor.
Ah, Petyr. Ever the skittish rabbit. “Speak,” Anton commanded gently.
“I don’t like him, Master,” Petyr admitted. “He’s the devil,” he whispered, then made the sign of the cross over his chest.
Anton chuckled. Dimitri’s arrival had been bound to put Petyr into a kerfuffle, but prompting Petyr to speak out of turn was impressive. He knelt down in front of Petyr, took his chin in his hand. “The next couple days will test your limits.” And mine, he added silently. “I expect you to treat our guest with respect, and afford him as much courtesy as is warranted. Remember, though, that I am your Dom, not him.” He stood and smoothed a hand down over his dress shirt. “And when Monday comes, if you have been good, you will be rewarded.”
Petyr shivered and looked to the floor again.
“Come.” Anton strolled down the hall to the living room, trusting Petyr to follow. He found Dimitri sitting on the couch, legs spread wide, hand in his pants, eyes fixed on the television, where porn filled the screen. Anton grabbed the remote control and shut the DVD player off.
“What the hell?” Dimitri growled. He raised his hand and lifted his middle finger at Anton. “I was watching that!”
“Lovely to see you, too,” Anton replied.
Dimitri grinned up at him. “Of course it is.” He gave his cock another lazy stroke. “That one you sent to fetch me is new.”
Anton frowned. “You’ve met Eric before.” What was Dimitri playing at?
“Not Eric.” Dimitri flapped his free hand at Anton and rolled his eyes. “The other one.”
“Mind your manners. Vincent belongs to Eric.” The last thing Anton needed was a battle between two Doms.
“So he said.” Dimitri shrugged and put his feet up on the coffee table. “Since when does Eric take in strays? I thought he only picked from Certified Anton-Approved Stock.” He batted his eyes at Anton. “Or aren’t you in control of Eric anymore?”
“Don’t talk as if you know Eric. You’re not a part of our lives anymore.” Anton kicked Dimitri’s feet off the table.
Dimitri chuckled, shoulders shaking. “Seems I’m enough a part of your life to ruffle your feathers. What’s the matter, big brother? Jealous of Vincent? Don’t tell me you’re still pining for a man who doesn’t love you? Even though the proof of it is staring you in the face with piercing green eyes?”
Anton bit back a retort and squared his shoulders. He could easily sink to his brother’s level. Oh, so very, very easily. He could go for Dimitri’s proverbial throat, rip the other man apart and feast on Dimitri’s depression. But he was better than that. “If you’re going to jack off, do it in your bedroom. Not on my Corinthian leather couch.”
Dimitri screwed his face up into a scowl, stood, and sauntered over to Anton. “Why don’t you come with me?” He reached for Anton’s cock but grimaced in pain as Anton’s hand wrapped around his wrist. “We used to be good together. Don’t you remember?”
Anton pushed Dimitri away and took a step back. “We no longer exist. You’re only welcome here until Uncle Frederick is in the ground. Don’t push your luck.”
Dimitri stared at him for several more minutes, then burst into laughter. “God, you’ve become such a cold fish!” He turned and left, hand already digging into the front of his pants as he walked away.
“The viewing is in two hours!” Anton called after him. “I’m not going to be late because of you!” But the only answer was the slamming of the guest room door.

Hop Against Homophobia and Transphobia

In honor of

I've blogged before about my experiences with homophobia and transphobia. Today, I want to blog about my experiences with acceptance.

I've recently started attending meetings of a local organization called Safe Zone, which is a GLBTQ youth group. At first, being there seemed very surreal and odd. I've never been in a room made up completely of people who either accepted that I was queer or didn't really care one way or another.

I've spent my life being a chameleon of sorts - always trying to figure out how to act around which people. Trying to determine if I could be myself, or if that specific person just couldn't "handle" my being queer and trans.

Being surrounded by people who could most definitely "handle" my being queer and trans has been a life changing experience. I no longer look at the world in a mindset of "how can I change myself to fit what you need." I now look at the world in a mindset of "you're not trying to change for me, why should I try to change for you?"

I'm queer and trans. And I'm FABULOUS. I don't need to change myself to make anyone else more comfortable.

It's organizations like Safe Zone, in my opinion, that will be the catalyst for change in the coming years. As queer people find hope and belonging within these groups, their individual lives will be impacted, and they will, in turn, change the lives of people around them.

I've always said the best argument we can make for equality is showing that we are equal - living our lives to the best of our abilities, with the best of intentions, and giving 100% whenever we can.

If you can help, you should. If you can and you don't, you're part of the problem.

For my prize today, I'm offering up a free pdf copy of the reader's choice of any one of my books. I'm also including a swag pack, including magnets, a calendar, and a gay pride rainbow flag, signed by yours truly!

To enter to win, just leave a comment below and please be sure to include your e-mail address.

GOOD LUCK!!

NEW RELEASE: "Lost and Found"

In the Fall of 2012, DH Starr approached Featherweight Press about publishing an anthology that he was a part of. It was a special project being organized by Michele Montgomery. All the authors wanted to donate their royalties from the anthology to charity. They wanted the monies to go to a specific cause---they wanted the money to go to a charity that worked with LGBT homeless teens.

The inspiration for the anthology was a picture that they had seen with the text over the image that said "40% of homeless youth are LGBT. The #1 reason they're on the streets in family rejection."

Here's more information from Kris Jacen - "Once we got to final editing stages we realized, we didn't know WHICH charity to donate the monies to. There are so many great charities out there working with LGBT youth that we weren't sure which to choose. We wanted to make sure that no matter how much, it would make a difference. So the search was on.

I was pleasantly surprised to come across one that had the name of the anthology almost exactly---Lost-n-Found Youth, Inc. It seemed like fate talking to me and after speaking with one of the board members, I was convinced of it. You see the board member told me that the day before we spoke, they received a call from a teen that had been on vacation with his parents and when they found a gay romance on his eReader, they left him on the side of the road. Yes, you read that correctly, abandoned him for reading a gay romance.

Our hope is that with these stories, these teens realize that there are many out there that care about them. That no matter what anyone says---THEY MATTER."

I'm proud to have my transgender YA story, "Thrown Away" included in this anthology.

Here's the blurb:

Sixteen and homeless - something that happened to other people. Other kids. Surely not him. Jeremy feared telling his parents he was transgender - that he wanted to be Katherine - but he never expected to be thrown away. When a cabbie takes pity on him and takes him to a local homeless shelter, Jeremy finds out that being Katherine isn't going to be easy, and comes with dangers she can't even fathom. Just when hope is lost, a mysterious woman name Donna enters the picture. But is Donna all that she seems? Or more?

And an excerpt:

I glanced up at the house as I walked up the cobblestone path. I loved that house when I was little. Now...not so much. A big, sprawling thing with dark, hardwood floors and built-in bookcases, a deep farm sink in the kitchen with a window just above it framed by frilly, red-and-white-checkered curtains. Going inside was like walking into a magazine. Everything in there was just so—my mother made certain of that. Everything, I guess, except me.

It had been three months since I’d brought up the word transgender. I’d been clever about how I’d done it; told my parents that a friend of mine thought he was trans, thought he wanted to be a girl, and asked them if they knew anything about it, what it meant. Played it cool, you know? Played it dumb. I didn’t want them realizing my friend didn’t really exist, and that I was the one with the doubts and questions.

Mom and Dad had said they didn’t have a clue what it meant. Dad had asked if it had anything to do with being queer, and how could someone my friend’s age even know anything like that about themselves? Mom said that sixteen was almost an adult, and anyway, maybe the boy was mature for his age, like me. I’m sixteen, and Mom thinks I’m mature for my age because I knew my alphabet before I entered Kindergarten, and I read high school level books in sixth grade. Maybe she’s right, but most of the time I feel like an idiot.

I stopped just before reaching for the door handle and looked up at the attic window. Just past that window, in the back, over in the far left hand corner was a beautiful old dollhouse. It wasn’t mine. It was in the house when we moved in. I asked my mom about it once and she just avoided the question, which pretty much convinced me that there was something special about it. I used to sneak up there, when I was a little boy, and play with it. I loved the vibrant colors—the pinks, purples, and soft yellows. I loved the details—the scrollwork above the door, the working shutters on the windows. But most of all, I loved how it made me feel. I felt delicate and dainty. Pretty.

I took a deep breath as I opened the door and walked inside. Mom already had dinner ready. I glanced at my watch. Five o’ clock on the dot. She always had dinner ready at five o’clock. I took a whiff of the air as I walked past the kitchen. Smelled like pot roast. Great. I was about to spoil Mom’s perfect pot roast.

Spotlight: Rob and Lou's Wild Weekends by Victoria Blisse (m/f)

Introduction to Rob and Lou.

Robert Nimble is thirty-five years old, he’s tech support for a large Internet host, and loves to play computer games to relax. He’s married to Louise Nimble, who’s a child minder, and a year younger than her husband. She bakes to unwind. Taking the old adage that stressed is desserts spelt backwards to heart.

Robert and Louise are more often known by the shortenings of their names—Rob and Lou. They’ve been married for ten years and have two children: Connor, who is six, and Elizabeth, who’s four. They live in a terraced house in a suburban outskirt of Manchester. As a family, they enjoy their yearly week-long holiday to Scarborough, and visits to the cinema to watch films that the kids and adults giggle at in equal measure. In the school holidays, they’ll often be found in museums and parks, enjoying the culture and the beauty of Britain.

They’re a smiley family, although Rob can get grumpy when his tech genius isn’t taken seriously enough, and Lou may have the patience of a saint with children, but more than two hours with her in-laws has her pulling out her hair. The children are mostly well-behaved, with an inclination to the curious, and the mischief that goes hand in hand with that. If they do run into the back of your legs, or scare you with their latest pet insect, they will apologise politely and you’re likely to instantly forgive them.

This book is not about the day-to-day life of this family, but those weekends and rare occasions that Lou and Rob get some time to themselves to indulge their sensual natures. Rob enjoys seeing his darling wife in very little clothing, and likes to indulge in intricate and imaginative role plays. Lou enjoys a bit of spanking, some domination, and bondage. She wouldn’t say she was into BDSM, per se; she just likes to dip a toe in the shallow end of that particularly pervy pond. They both like to flirt with erotic danger, playing about in public places in hopes of possibly being caught.

Rob and Lou’s Wild Weekends are just that, so hold on and enjoy the ride.

Blurb: Hold on tight, it’s going to get wild! Rob and Lou could pass you in the streets and you’d likely not notice them. They’re in their thirties, have a family and jobs to hold down and they do it with smiles on their faces. But occasionally they get a little time off and that’s when things get seriously sexy.

Light-hearted and fun, this mini-anthology features episodes from this couple’s wild weekends. Making the most of the mud, finding the erotic nature of an apron and even having a sexy visit to a fish and chip shop. Rob and Lou make the mundane much more pleasurable so join them on their kinky ride.

Includes a bonus short story Damsel in Distress and excerpts from other ebooks by the award winning queen of rosy, raunchy and rubenesque erotic romance, Victoria Blisse.

Excerpt:

Rob and Lou’s Domestic Discipline

It was only a small parcel in a typical brown padded envelope. It wasn’t expected, which is why I spent so long looking it over. The return address didn’t ring a bell, and I really couldn’t imagine what it could be so, finally, I opened it. I grinned to myself as I did. My husband Rob would have laughed at me, spending so long looking at the wrapping and wondering. He doesn’t get why I like to eke out the anticipation in moments like this.

Inside was a square of white with a lacy frill all around it. When I opened it up, I found ties –it was a pinny. Inside the parcel was a sealed envelope. I opened it to find a card covered in small red love hearts.

Wear this tonight and only this xxx

PS Kids are going to my mum’s for tea tonight, so don’t worry.

I recognised my husband’s handwriting immediately and chuckled when I remembered a conversation we’d held in a restaurant once about pinnies and their attractiveness. Well, Rob had been staring at this red-headed waitress (he loves auburn hair) with cute curves and pouty lips, and I had to pull him up on it.

“No, Lou, No.” He shook his head. “I am helplessly addicted to pinnies. I can’t help it.”

“Pinnies?” I lifted one brow and pinched his thigh under the table. “You’re turned on by tiny little aprons?”

“Yes.” He nodded solemnly. “It’s a terrible affliction.”

“What’s your favourite kind?”

“White ones with lacy bits,” he replied, licking his lips salaciously.

That night, I whispered dirty sweet nothings in his ear while we fucked in the comfort of our hotel room bed. I told a story where I was a simple girl, waiting on tables in a quaint old tea shop, wearing a little lacy pinny. I giggled. He chuckled, but as my tale got hotter, the noises we made became strangled and lust-filled.

“You watch me until the end of my shift,” I whispered, hunched over him, my soft thighs stretched around his waist as his hard erection filled me. I moved gently up and down and continued the tale. “Then follow me outside into the alley. Before I can cry out, you clamp your hand over my mouth and push me roughly against the wall. I struggle helplessly but you hold me down and whisper about knowing I want it. How I’d teased you and how I would get what I’d been asking for.”

I still remember how he gripped my hips tightly when I rode him. I continued my story through groans of pleasure.

“You spin me around, press me into the harsh brick of the wall, and pull up my skirt. Grabbing hold of my prim pinny, you fuck me. I’m soaking wet, so you slide right in. You fuck me there in an alley, the girl you just met, the girl you hardly know.”

My words turned into unintelligible mumblings at the point where ecstasy took over. And ever since our holiday, with the visit to that restaurant and the evening’s tale of indecency in an apron, we’ve found a mutual fondness for the uniform of waiting staff and hotel workers alike. So, if Rob wanted me naked in nothing but a pinny for Valentine’s, that’s what he could have.

Duckapalooza 2013 - BDSM Duck - My Collection (NSFW?)

So here's the deal - when you're me, and you have the friends I have, you end up with lots of whatever it is you say you love. For instance, I love sock monkeys, so I have been gifted with *several.*

I also get sent a lot of links to things my friends can't afford to get me, but think I have to have.

That's how I found this little gem. Technically, it's a vibrator though - ahem - no, she's never been used as such.

She comes complete with her very own set of tiny handcuffs.

Here's the link to buy her, if you're so inclined - NSFW LINK. Be sure to check out the slider at the bottom of the page for more interesting ducks!
